Stephen L. Buckley, M.D.
Dr. Buckley attended the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Buckley then remained on faculty at Vanderbilt as an instructor in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery before completing his subspecialty fellowship training in gynecologic oncology and chemotherapy at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. At the University of Kentucky, Dr. Buckley received a grant to assist him in the development of the Unrogynecology teaching program. In addition to his interest in the surgical management of ovarian cancer, Dr. Buckley has been an investigator in one of the country's largest Ovarian Cancer Screening Projects. As well, he has presented and published clinical research papers on the surgical management of cervix and vulvar cancer. He is board certified in Gynecologic Oncology as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has been practicing in Jacksonville since completing his Gynecologic Oncology training in 1995.
